Crabbing in Nehalem Bay Oregon with my DIY pontoon boat I like crabbing in Nehalem Bay because the crabbing site is very close to the boat ramp. The boat ramp is within walking distance from the Nehalem Bay State Park camp site. This is my Gen 17 boat. I modified it one more time prior to this trip. The boat works really well even in the windy condition (gust up to 20 mph). The air temperature was at 62F, but I have to wear a lot of clothing to stay warm. It was a very enjoyable trip. Looking forward to my next trip to Tillamook Bay, Oregon in the early part of August 2021.
